Our friends in Nanjing China preparing special dishes and celebrating Chinese New Year.
We celebrated the Chinese New Year with friends. Ming Wei came, a friend of Sawyer's from Changshu. Sawyer was really excited. We had a great time!! We also had some special guests that we met before we traveled to China to bring Sawyer home. Qingwen and Jingying, Qingwen is a reporter for a paper in Beijing. We were honored to have them.

WOW - that was a super celebration! We were 'simple' this year, another adoptive family and us for a home celebration, and then an afternoon with the local Korean Family Connection group here. Nice - but quiet - more to the speed of our youngest. But next year - well maybe folks should 'look out'!!
