We spent our New Years with the Dukes'. It was Sawyer's first time to meet some of his family and Dad's friends from his hometown. We all went to Uncle Jim and Aunt Mary's house. Great Grandma was there! Aunt Debbie, Uncle Mike, David and Jack came from California to visit. Uncle Greg came and then Uncle Jim, Aunt Mary, Dane, Mitchell and Haley invited the kids to spend the night. BRAVE SOULS! The kids had a blast! Then Andy and Debbie (friends of Dads) brought their new convertible Cadillac by for everyone to see. It's not very new though. It was bought through an auction and belonged to Tammy Faye Baker. It had been sold to pay back taxes. When Andy and Debbie went to buy it they had no idea who the previous owner had been and found a picture of Tammy Faye included with the car. Debbie said that there are only mascara stains on the visors. Just kidding.. :-)

Looks like a great trip to us! Happy New Year ya'll - only the best to all you guys!
hugs - aus and co.
I pop over every now and then and it looks like Sawyer is just getting along beautifully!
Our babysitter let Leila put make-up on her Friday and I told her she looked like Tammy Faye. (Sadly, she really did.) She had NO CLUE who I was talking about. I felt very, very old! :)
